Data and purposes

The site processes technical data required to deliver pages, protect the service and diagnose failures, such as IP address, user agent, and request date and time in server logs. Data voluntarily submitted through forms, comments or direct contact is used only to respond and manage the related relationship.

Only after consent, Rybbit Analytics collects information about site use: visited pages and titles, referrer, outbound links, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, approximate geographic area, Web Vitals performance, scroll depth and engagement time. Rybbit is hosted directly on our European infrastructure; the IP address is not retained in the analytics database.

To understand where the experience can be improved, 10% of consented sessions may be recorded. Form fields and other sensitive elements are masked or excluded. Analytics data is not used for personalised advertising.

Legal basis

• operation, security and abuse prevention: the controller’s legitimate interest;
• responding to enquiries: steps taken at the user’s request or legitimate interest in responding;
• Rybbit analytics and session recordings: consent, which can be withdrawn at any time through “Privacy choices”.

Local storage and cookies

The privacy choice is stored in the browser for 180 days. A Rybbit identifier is created only after analytics consent. WordPress and WPML may use strictly necessary cookies for language, security, authentication and user-requested features. When consent is withdrawn, local analytics identifiers are removed and no new events are collected.

Retention

Analytics events are kept for up to 24 months and session recordings for up to 14 days. Messages and user-submitted data are kept as long as needed to handle the request and comply with legal obligations. Technical logs are retained only as long as necessary for service security and administration.

Recipients and infrastructure

The site and Rybbit use server infrastructure in Germany. Cloudflare provides traffic protection, delivery and security and may process technical data under its contractual safeguards. Technical providers access data only when required to deliver their services. Embedded content and links to external platforms are also governed by the respective providers’ privacy notices.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, use the Write Me page.
